Beskrivelse: The note is about the retrospective of Oliver Hardy and Stan Laurel entitled "A selection of the famous comedians' greatest hits", who became a screen couple for the first time in the film "SLIPPING WIVES" in 1926, which marked the beginning of a 30-year long association. The note says that "without quite measuring up to Charlie Chaplin or Buster Keaton, they have gone down in history as all-time comedians". It also sums up their familiar features: one is plump with a smile on his face, who thinks is smart but he actually the one who makes stupid mistakes all the time; the other is thin and so naïve that he has his full share of misfortune. The comic duo made over 100 films, of which the following stand out: "FRA DIAVOLO", "IN THE FOREIGN LEGION" and "MATADORS".
